BRUDER MOIST HEAT EYE COMPRESS

he Bruder Mask or Bruder Moist Heat Eye Compress is the gold standard and tried and tested method for alleviating evaporative dry eye caused by Meibomian Gland Dysfunction. To use the Bruder Mask simply microwave it for approximately 8-15 seconds depending on the wattage of your microwave. The mask should feel warm but not uncomfortably hot. The beads in the Bruder Maska are self hydrating so no water is needed. The mask is made using hypoallergenic material and fits comfortably around the head with a velcro strap. Its also machine washable for easy re-use. Usage Instructions:

Microwave the mask for 8-15 seconds depending on your microwave strength (it should be comfortably warm and not too hot)
Strap the mask around the head and leave it on for 10-15 minutes. This softens the blocked meibum in your blocked glands.
After the heating component of the process is done lid massage is performed as follow: on the upper eyelids massage and express in a downward motion on the bottom eyelids massage and express in an upward motion.
The massage process should last for approximately two minutes with the goal of getting clear meibum flowing onto the ocular surface.
